Delete Your SmartList Account

You can delete your SmartList account directly from within the mobile app. This is the fastest and easiest method.
How to Delete Your Account

Open the SmartList App
Launch the SmartList mobile application on your device

Go to Profile Settings
Navigate to Profile → Settings from the bottom navigation bar

Select "Delete Account"
Scroll down and tap on the "Delete Account" option

Enter Your Password
For security verification, enter your current password

Confirm Deletion
Review the warning message and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account
⚠️ Warning: This Action is Permanent
Account deletion is irreversible. Once deleted, you will not be able to recover your account or any associated data.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account and profile information (name, email, location)
- Your personal shopping lists and items
- Your shop data (if you manage any shops)
- Your spending analytics and purchase history
- Your device push notification tokens
- All personal data associated with your account
Note About Shared Data:
Items you added to shared group lists may remain visible to other group members after your account is deleted, but your name will no longer be associated with them.
Data Retention
- Personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for research purposes (cannot be linked back to you)
- Certain data may be retained longer if required by law

If you are unable to access the app or need assistance with account deletion, you can contact our support team:
Include in your email:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your account name (if different from email)
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
We will process your deletion request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

- You can leave specific groups without deleting your account
- You can delete individual lists instead of your entire account
